La Milpa - Guatemala Interest Group presents esteemed Mayan scholar Daniel Matul on Friday, April 17, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the School of Social Work Dean's Office, 1001 W. Franklin St. Matul will lead a discussion about the indigenous Mayan culture and social systems, which are based on harmony, community, natural energy and a coexisting spiritual world.
