The VCU deadline for students interested in applying for the Gilman International Scholarship is Friday, March 27, by 4:30 p.m. Students receiving a federal Pell grant who are studying abroad in the fall of 2009 are encouraged to apply. Gilman scholarship recipients could receive up to $8,000 for study abroad. For more information, visit the Gilman Web site at http://www.iie.org//programs/gilman/index.html or contact the Education Abroad Office at abroad@vcu.edu or 827-7882.
