VCU Book trading website – not sure how many students know about this, but the more students that use it, the better the deals are going to be. This is a great benefit for the student community, but only if people know about it and use the site. Check it out!

You may find the book trading website on
www.vcusga.com

Book Trading! Save some dough, get the books you need and sell the books you don't! Empty Results of SGA MyVCU Portal Poll re: Booktrading Website

Post  driverx77 Sat Nov 29, 2008 2:49 pm

Here is a breakdown of the results of the MyVCU portal poll survey on the SGA VCU Booktrading website. Hopefully we've helped spread the word a bit about the existence of the site. The results of the survey indicate that a strong majority (75%) of respondents didn't know about the site. With that being said, the survey itself should prove valuable to drive student traffic to the website. This should bode well for an increased level of usage and participation by the student body of this valuable resource.

On to the poll results:

Book Trading! Save some dough, get the books you need and sell the books you don't! Empty VCU Booktrading website disclaimer:

Post  driverx77 Wed Feb 04, 2009 6:46 pm

From Kanwar:

Hello Everyone

The VCU SGA book trading website now has a disclaimer policy. This policy is available on the vcusga.com website as well as the actual forum. The disclaimer policy is available in a pop up window that shows up when users go to the VCU SGA book trading section of the website.

This disclaimer policy protects SGA from any liability arising from any transaction that students do using our forums. It also makes them aware of the risk that might be associated with using the book trading website.

Please look at the disclaimer policy and let me know if any changes need to be made in the wordings of this policy.

Thanks

Kanwar
