The VCU Medical Center's Healthy Discoveries with the Docs educational seminar features Dr. Stephen Bickston, a gastroenterologist, who will discuss advances in treating inflammatory bowel disease associated with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Bugs to Biotech: Combating Digestive Disorders will be held on Wednesday, April 15, from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, Education and Library Complex, 1800 Lakeside Ave. Light refreshments will be provided. The seminar is free, but reservations are required. Call 828-0123.
